Job summary

AmLaw 100 law firm seeks an Associate Attorney to join its Securities Group in either New York or Washington, DC. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of meaningful transactional experience in M&A, real estate transactions, capital markets, or SPACs.

Applicants should have a JD from an accredited law school and be admitted with NY or DC Bar. Midsize/large firm experience and strong academic credentials are preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of meaningful transactional experience in M&A/real estate or capital markets.
• Experience at a midsize or large law firm preferred.
• Strong writing, analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with securities and transactional matters including public and private offerings.
• Draft and review transaction documents and securities-related materials.
• Support deal teams through various stages of complex transactions.
• Collaborate with attorneys across practice groups for comprehensive client support.
