The Northern Trust Company is seeking an experienced Data Architect to lead the data architecture strategy for Securities Services in Chicago. You will design scalable models, govern data, and drive modern, event-driven, data-centric solutions across multiple domains.

Collaborate with business, product, engineering, and architecture teams to enable real-time processing, analytics and cloud adoption while ensuring compliance and data quality.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 10+ years in data architecture or similar roles.
• Expertise in data modeling, governance, metadata, and data quality practices.
• Experience designing cloud-based data platforms and event-driven architectures.

Responsabilidades

• Define target-state data architecture for Securities Services portfolio.
• Develop enterprise and domain data models to support capabilities.
• Establish architecture standards, governance and metadata frameworks.
• Lead data mesh, data products, lineage and data quality programs.
• Design scalable, cloud-native integration patterns and APIs.
• Partner with stakeholders to align data strategy with modernization goals.
• Ensure platforms support operational, analytical and regulatory needs.
