Talnt is seeking a Securities Litigation Associate in San Francisco or Silicon Valley with 3–5 years of securities litigation experience to join a leading financial and securities practice.

You will represent corporate and individual clients in class actions, shareholder derivative lawsuits, merger litigation, and related investigations, with collaboration across teams and opportunities for mentoring and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the California State Bar.
• Three to five years of experience in securities litigation or a related field.
• Strong analytical, legal research, and writing skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in an active litigation practice.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in securities class actions, shareholder derivative lawsuits, merger litigation, and related commercial disputes at the trial and appellate levels.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, legal memoranda, and other litigation documents.
• Conduct legal research and analyze factual records to support case strategy and client advice.
• Support discovery, document review, and preparation for depositions, hearings, and trial.
• Assist with internal, government, and regulatory investigations involving alleged securities law violations.
• Support advocacy before federal and state regulators to minimize or avoid enforcement actions.
• Evaluate legal and factual issues arising from securities disputes and communicate findings to the case team.
• Collaborate with partners, associates, clients, and other stakeholders across litigation and investigation matters.
• Manage assignments, deadlines, and competing priorities while maintaining accuracy and responsiveness.
