Job summary

Jobtailor in the United States (New Jersey) seeks a seasoned Margin Operations lead to act as North American point-person, delivering end-to-end margin expertise and risk oversight. You will refine calculations, drive automation, and ensure alignment with operating models and design standards.

The role collaborates with Prime Product Development, In-Business-Risk, and leadership to deliver robust controls, talents development, and continuous improvement across margin and collateral operations.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of relevant experience in financial services with Prime Brokerage margin functions.
• In-depth knowledge of margin methodologies, regulatory frameworks, and risk controls.
• Experience with Reg T, Portfolio Margin, FINRA rules, and SEC 15c3-1/3 requirements.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Strong background in Prime Margin Operations within a peer US registered broker-dealer
• Subject-matter experience across margin methodologies, regulatory frameworks, operational processes and associated controls
• Strong experience of Prime Brokerage product offerings
• Deep front-to-back Prime Margin experience
• Strong technical expertise
• Experience with Reg T, Portfolio Margin (PM), FINRA rules, and SEC 15c3-1/3 requirements
• 6-10 years of relevant experience in financial services with specific experience working within global Prime Brokerage margin functions
• Strong appreciation of Prime margin processes, regulations, securities products, practices, and risks, and/or product/service design, execution and delivery of large strategic change programmes
• Strong awareness of external and internal best practice perspectives
• Strong risk and control mindset and ability to identify sub-optimal processes
• Proven ability to work across senior stakeholders in Risk, Product, Technology, and the Front Office
• Excellent analytical, communication, and decision-making skills
• BA/BS degree preferred
