Job summary

WesBanco Bank Inc. seeks a Real Estate Valuation Liaison to serve as the primary point of contact between loan clients requesting appraisals and our Real Estate Valuation Group. You will track orders, coordinate external reviews, and ensure timely input into Finance Center.

The role requires strong communication, multitasking, and knowledge of MS Office. A high school diploma or GED and at least two years in Commercial Lending are expected, with familiarity in appraisals a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of two years related experience in Commercial Lending.
• Familiarity with: commercial real estate appraisals is a plus.
• Familiarity with commercial loan documentation is a plus.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison between the Real Estate Valuation Group and users of appraisal services.
• Track commercial real estate appraisals ordered for the Bank using internal systems.
• Order and coordinate external Commercial appraisal reviews with third-party vendors.
• Upload appraisal reviews and input information in Finance Center.
• Assist the closing team with completion of checklists in Finance Center.
• Escalate issues to Team Lead or Department Manager as needed.
• Communicate with senior management, other bank officers, and vendors.
• Maintain knowledge of appraisal rules and regulations.

SUMMARY:

Responsible for being the primary point of contact between those ordering real estate valuations for property proposed as collateral for commercial loans and the staff of the Real Estate Valuation Group.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Serves as the primary liaison between the Real Estate Valuation Group and those utilizing Commercial Real Estate appraisal services within the Bank.
• Tracks commercial real estate appraisals ordered on behalf of the Bank using Appraisal Management Collateral 360 software.
• Reviews status of real estate appraisals and communicates issues and information requests.
• Orders and coordinates external Commercial appraisal reviews through our 3rd party vendor.
• Uploads appraisal reviews and inputs information in Finance Center.
• Assists the closing team and reviewers with completion of checklists in Finance Center.
• Problem solves or routes issues to appropriate staff member.
• Escalates issues to Team Lead or Department Manager as needed.
• Communicates with Senior and Executive Management, other bank officers, and vendors.
• Serves as ambassador for the department when dealing with vendors and other departments and divisions, reflecting professionalism and efficiency.
• Continually develops and maintains a basic working knowledge of appraisal rules and regulations,
• Other duties as assigned.
