Qualifications

• Excellent communication, observation, and reporting skills.
• Ability to read, write and understand English proficiently.
• Must be at least 21 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass background checks, medical evaluation, and drug screening.
• Must possess or be willing to obtain an Active Arizona Armed Guard License.
• Must possess a Class A or B CDL and P endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport residents to courts, hospitals, detention facilities, and other locations while maintaining security.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and ensure readiness.
• Monitor resident behavior and respond to disturbances or emergencies during transport.
• Apply restraints per facility procedures and maintain accountability of equipment.
• Maintain transportation logs, mileage records, and related paperwork.
• Coordinate schedules with detention personnel, healthcare staff, and court officials.
• Operate radios, GPS, and emergency systems during trips.
• Ensure compliance with detention standards and company policies.
