Job summary

Amentum is hiring full-time Motor Vehicle Operators to transport Sponsor personnel to government and commercial sites in the Washington, DC area. You will drive cars, shuttles, vans and charter buses, plan routes with GPS, and ensure safety and on-time performance while complying with DOT regulations.

Candidates should have a High School diploma, a Class B CDL with passenger endorsement, and an active Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Active Secret Clearance
• High School diploma or equivalent
• CDL Class B with Passenger endorsement
• DOT card (annual)
• Ability to operate various motor vehicles
• Strong knowledge of traffic, parking and safety laws
• Proven driving experience with shuttles/buses
• Mentor/train new MVOs when needed
• Professional conduct in IC environment

Responsibilities

• Safely transport Sponsor customers daily as directed by Dispatch
• Operate cars, shuttles, vans and buses for fleet transfers
• Verify passengers, update Dispatch on changes
• Perform pre-trip safety checks and basic maintenance
• Plan efficient routes using GPS/maps and ensure on-time pickups/drop-offs
• Maintain DOT compliance and report incidents
• Mentor and train junior MVOs
• Perform other duties as assigned
