Job summary

RTX in Cedar Rapids is seeking a STEM graduate or early-career engineer for an onsite role supporting aerospace and defense systems. The position involves analyzing, architecting, and designing across the total system product lifecycle, translating customer requirements into hardware and software specifications, and developing verification plans.

Candidates should have a STEM degree and familiarity with Agile methods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) required by start date.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and roles (scrum master/product owner) preferred.
• Experience with integration, verification and validation phases is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Performs analysis, architecture, and design across the total system product lifecycle.
• Translates customer requirements into hardware and software specs via requirements allocation.
• Develops verification criteria and plans for sub-systems and components.
• Evaluates investments or changes to improve system quality and efficiency.
