Job summary

Aquila Technology is seeking a Test Engineer to support a premier defense research organization. The role focuses on testing software components in a testbed for space network field experimentation, with containers, custom programs, and graphical elements.

Onsite work within 100 miles of Lexington, MA is required, and an active clearance is mandatory. The position involves integrating and testing software in a testbed, developing test plans, and conducting automated testing to verify system

Qualifications

• Active clearance required (Secret or higher) and US citizenship.
• 5 years experience with Git or version control systems.
• 3 years experience with network segmentation.
• 3 years experience with NFV concepts.
• 5 years experience with TCP/IP and routing protocols (BGP, OSPF).
• 3 years Python.
• 5 years scripting (PowerShell/bash).
• 5 years packet analysis tools (Wireshark, tcpdump).
• 3 years Linux OS.
• 1 year API testing and integration (RESTful APIs, GRPC, YANG).
• 1 year Hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) and Software-in-the-loop (SIL) testing.
• 3 years regression testing and automated test frameworks.
• 3 years test plan development and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Test engineer will help integrate and test software components in a testbed for space network field experimentation capabilities.
• Develop and execute test plans and documentation to ensure performance under expected conditions.
• Conduct regression testing and contribute to automated testing frameworks.
