You will configure and monitor routers, switches, and related devices, develop backup procedures, and test contingency plans to ensure high performance and resilience of the network

Responsibilities

• Operate and manage network equipment including hubs, routers, switches, bridges, servers, and transmission media.
• Configure and optimize network hubs, routers, and switches.
• Develop and implement network backup and recovery procedures.
• Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues.
• Install and maintain network device operating system software.
• Monitor network capacity and performance.
• Patch network vulnerabilities to safeguard information.
• Test and maintain network infrastructure including software and hardware devices.
• Establish and maintain network security practices.
