Overview

Are you passionate about operating secure facilities and managing critical infrastructure? AWS is seeking an experienced Secure Facility Operations Manager (SFOM) to lead daily facility operations, security, and continuity planning. This role involves working with diverse teams and managing remote project delivery to support the U.S. Intelligence Community.

Responsibilities

1. Manage daily facility operations and customer requests
2. Develop and implement plans for facility maintenance and security
3. Coordinate emergency actions and response planning for secured facilities
4. Support budget development and management for operations and maintenance
5. Maintain facility blueprints, procedures, and operational documentation
6. Manage multiple functions across various facilities, including procurement and disposal phases supporting COOP

Qualifications

Minimum:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field with 5+ years of experience or 10+ years of secure facility management experience
• 5+ years managing large-scale secure facility maintenance programs (HVAC, Electrical, etc.)
• Active US Security Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph

Preferred:

• Master's Degree or 15+ years of experience in secure facility management
• Experience designing and operating critical infrastructure (HVAC, Mechanical, Electrical)
• Vendor contract management experience
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills

Additional Information

This position requires US citizenship and an active TS/SCI clearance. The role involves after-hours on-call responsibilities. AWS values diversity and encourages candidates with varied experiences to apply. Compensation ranges from $98,700 to $210,800 annually, depending on location and experience.
