Job summary

Catapult Federal Services in Maryland is seeking a Sr. Mobile Developer (Cross-Platform) to design, build, and sustain secure iOS and Android apps for a federal government customer.

You will contribute in an Agile, security-first environment with close collaboration with security and backend teams. The role requires an active Secret clearance with upgrade eligibility, DoD 8140 certifications, and 5+ years of cross-platform mobile experience.

Qualifications

• Active Secret security clearance required or upgrade eligible.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; relevant experience may substitute.
• DoD 8140-compliant certification (e.g., Security+ or higher).
• 5+ years of cross-platform mobile development for iOS and Android.
• Experience securing and integrating mobile apps with enterprise APIs.
• MDM integrations and secure deployments experience.
• Ability to ramp quickly in a mission-critical environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain secure mobile apps using cross‑platform and native tech.
• Apply secure coding practices per RMF, STIGs, and secure SDLC standards.
• Integrate apps with backend APIs and enterprise services.
• Support MDM integrations (Samsung Knox, VMware AirWatch).
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and sprint execution.
• Communicate progress, risks, and decisions clearly to teammates.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues rapidly in high-security environments.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and technical excellence.
