G4S Secure Solutions (USA) Inc. is seeking a Sector Manager - Armed to lead day-to-day security and transportation operations within a defined Sector.

You will superviseLieutenants and Sergeants, coordinate staffing, and ensure contract compliance. The role requires extensive leadership experience in security or protective services, strong regulatory knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining safety and service quality.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• US citizenship or legal permanent residency is required.

• Valid driver's license if driving company or customer vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise and evaluate Lieutenants and Sergeants; develop career plans.
• Oversee daily transportation and guarding operations within the Sector.
• Serve as primary local liaison with client supervisors and management.
• Communicate and enforce contract requirements, directives, and policies.
• Ensure training, licenses, certifications, and qualifications are kept up to date.
• Oversee QASP activities, inspections, and compliance reviews; address deficiencies.
• Maintain readiness and condition of assigned vehicles, including maintenance needs.
• Coordinate vehicle maintenance and replacements with Tucson Fleet Coordinator.
• Ensure accurate operational, staffing, training, and performance reports.
• Promote safe work practices; address incidents and injuries promptly.
• Identify operational risks and recommend staffing/service-delivery improvements.
• Support Sector mobilization, onboarding, training, and facility readiness.
• Remain available for urgent needs during nights, weekends, and holidays.

Job Description

G4S Secure Solutions (USA) Inc., an Allied Universal Company, is hiring a Sector Manager - Armed (Captain). The Sector Manager (Captain) provides day-to-day leadership and operational oversight for all transportation and stationary/remote guarding services within their assigned Sector. The Sector Manager is responsible for ensuring that staffing, scheduling, service delivery, employee performance, and transportation operations comply with contract requirements, company policies, issued directives, and applicable laws and regulations.

The Sector Manager maintains comprehensive knowledge of all contract activities within the assigned Sector and serves as the primary operational liaison between the company and client's local supervisory and management personnel. The position coordinates sector fleet requirements, including vehicle assignments, readiness, inspections, maintenance needs, downtime, and replacement vehicles, with the Fleet Coordinator based in Tucson, who provides centralized fleet administration and support across all Sectors.

The Sector Manager also oversees Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP) performance within the assigned Sector, monitors service quality and contract compliance, addresses operational deficiencies, and ensures that corrective actions are implemented and documented. The position is accountable for maintaining operational readiness and consistently delivering safe, reliable, and contract-compliant services.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Directly supervise and evaluate assigned Lieutenants and Sergeants; assign responsibilities, monitor performance, and provide feedback to the Program Manager; design and implement career development and performance plans
• Oversee daily transportation and stationary/remote guarding operations within the assigned Sector, including staffing, scheduling, dispatch, and service delivery
• Serve as the primary local liaison with client supervisors and management regarding operational, personnel, and service matters
• Communicate and enforce contract requirements, post orders, client directives, company policies, and applicable federal, state, and local regulations
• Ensure required employee training, licenses, certifications, and qualifications are completed, documented, and maintained
• Oversee QASP activities, operational inspections, and compliance reviews; identify deficiencies and ensure corrective actions are completed
• Maintain local accountability and operational readiness for assigned vehicles, including inspections, cleanliness, management needs, damage, and downtime
• Coordinate vehicle maintenance, repairs, records, vendor services, and replacement needs with the Fleet Coordinator based in Tucson
• Ensure required operational, staffing, training, vehicle, incident, and performance reports are accurate and submitted on time
• Promote safe work practices and ensure operational incidents, employee injuries, vehicle accidents, and client concerns are promptly addressed, documented, and reported to the Program Manager
• Identify operational risks and recommend improvements to staffing, transportation, dispatch, supervision, and service-delivery procedures
• Support Sector mobilization and startup activities, including staffing, onboarding, training, facility readiness, vehicle placement, and post implementation
• Remain available for urgent operational requirements during nights, weekends, and holidays, and perform transportation or guard duties when necessary and properly qualified

QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):

• High School Diploma or equivalent (e.g., GED)
• Must be United States citizen or legal permanent resident
• Must be able to pass any State-required training or other qualifications for licensing
• Valid driver's license if driving a company or customer owned vehicle
• Minimum of ten (10) years of successful employment history demonstrating strong management and leadership skills
• Proven record of successfully managing staff, scheduling operations, and maintaining positive customer relationships
• Supervisory or management experience in a security, transportation, law-enforcement, military, or comparable protective service operational environment
• Knowledge of operational transportation contract management equal to or greater in scope than the assigned Sector
• Able to read, understand, and comprehend legal regulatory rulings and guidance
• Effective oral and written communication skills; able to write informatively, clearly, and accurately

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):

• Possession of a current and valid Commercial Driver's License with a Passenger endorsement
