Job summary

Atlas seeks a Sector Lead in Burlington, NJ, to own the sector’s P&L, people, clients, operations and quality. This licensed engineer role combines geotechnical depth with strong BD and leadership to grow a regional practice and deliver integrated Atlas services.

You will manage senior client relationships, lead multi-disciplinary teams, and coordinate with the Northeast Division to align resources and pricing. A robust geotech background and NJ licensure are essential.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering; PE in New Jersey or ability to obtain by comity within 6 months.
• 12 years in geotechnical, CMT, environmental consulting including 5 years of P&L or operations leadership.
• Demonstrated BD track record and existing client relationships in southern NJ and greater Philadelphia.
• Experience leading multi-discipline teams of engineers, inspectors and technicians.
• Strong geotechnical engineering background with investigations, foundation design, construction phase support.

Responsibilities

• Full P&L accountability for the Burlington sector backlog, utilization, revenue, margin, AR, collections and forecasting.
• Lead business development and client retention; pursue and win geotechnical, CMT, special inspection and environmental work.
• Own senior client relationships with public agencies, developers and contractors.
• Direct day-to-day operations, staffing, scheduling, subcontractors, equipment, safety and quality.
• Serve as senior technical reviewer and licensed engineer of record for geotechnical deliverables.
• Recruit, develop and retain staff; build bench strength and succession.
• Coordinate with New Jersey sector, Northeast Division and national leads on shared resources, pricing, cross-selling.
• Represent Atlas in regional market, industry associations, and prequalifications.

The Sector Lead owns the Burlington NJ sector its people clients operations quality and P&L This is a seller doer leadership role for a licensed engineer with a strong geotechnical foundation and working command of construction materials testingspecial inspection and environmental services The Sector Lead sets direction for the sector retains and grows key client relationships across southern New Jersey and the Philadelphia region develops staff and partners closely with the New Jersey IselinAvenel sector and the Northeast Division leadership to deliver integrated Atlas services
