Qualifications

• Basic reading, writing, and math skills required.
• Manual dexterity and steady hands essential.
• Ability to tie a weaver’s knot and handle machinery safely.

Responsibilities

• Creel yarn for the warper.
• Keep cones tied in warper creel.
• Assist warper tender in creel changes.
• Learn patterns and positions to hang when running multiple colors.
• Adjust arbors as needed.
• Sweep when needed – at least three times per shift.
• Open yarn cases and break down boxes.
• Take out empty cones and trash once per shift.
• Learn to operate the warper and relieve the warper tender for breaks.
• Cut off beams.
• Help warper tender bring ends up to relays.
• Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.
• Work scheduled overtime.
