Gwinnett County Department of Water Resources (DWR) is a publicly owned utility committed to delivering superior services to a vibrantly connected community. The Vertical Assets Section Manager leads a team of engineers within the Department of Water Resources' Engineering and Construction (E&C) Division. Vertical assets include the non-linear portions of our water and wastewater systems including two water filtration plants, three water reclamation facilities, and over 200 pump stations. The Vertical Assets Section is responsible for overseeing the design and construction of capital improvement projects at these facilities. The ideal candidate has experience in water and wastewater facility planning, design, procurement, construction, and management of water and wastewater systems. Problem solving and the ability to communicate effectively with county leadership, peers, staff, and occasionally with the public are also critical to this position.
