Location & Security Clearance

Tewksbury, MA / Andover, MA – On‑site role. Open to U.S. citizens only; a current DoD Secret clearance is required.

Responsibilities
  • Lead multi‑disciplinary engineering teams, overseeing cost, schedule, and technical performance.
  • Conduct performance reviews and support recruitment and retention efforts.
  • Guide mechanical design from concept and trade studies through detailed design, production transition, and supplier support.
  • Develop and integrate mechanical hardware and electronics packaging (chassis, modules, circuit card assemblies, printed wiring boards, and interconnects).
  • Apply materials selection, manufacturing processes, GD&T, and tolerance analysis to ensure quality and reliability.
  • Support project execution, including proposal development (BOEs), EVMS/EAC tracking, and risk & opportunity management.
  • Conduct root cause and corrective action analysis and present findings to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Support factory and suppliers with domestic and international product integration.
  • Prepare clear, concise technical and programmatic presentations for management and strategic decision‑making.
  • Lead cross‑functional Integrated Product Team efforts, including Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and Program Management.
  • Develop technical solutions that meet complex user requirements while balancing schedule and budget.
Qualifications
  • STEM degree and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience (or an advanced degree with 5 years).
  • Proven leadership of engineering teams with responsibility for cost, schedule, and technical execution.
  • Expertise in mechanical design: trade studies, detailed design, production transition, and supplier support.
  • Experience with materials selection, manufacturing processes, GD&T, and tolerance analysis.
  • Strong collaboration skills; ability to work effectively with minimal conflict and within schedule constraints.
  • Experience designing, fabricating, and integrating military mobile shelters, trailers, and equipment packaging.
  • Self‑driven leadership with adaptability across varying assignments.
  • Knowledge of military and commercial specifications.
  • Experience in electronics packaging design and integration.
  • Experience with risk & opportunity management.
  • Advanced problem‑solving skills, including reliability/failure analysis and development of technical white papers.
  • Engineering project management experience, including EVMS/EAC oversight and proposal leadership.
  • Hardware design experience for Patriot, LTAMDS, and NASAMS Air Defense Systems.
