The Construction Project Manager – Section Lead at NYC DEP oversees staff and the Construction Management Section for Green Infrastructure projects. You will manage field inspections, documentation, and coordination with DEP bureaus and partners to ensure on-site success.
You will also handle procurement of design services, prepare cost estimates, and lead audits and progress meetings with contractors and other agencies, while maintaining budgets and schedules. Residency not required.

Under the direction of the Director for On‑site Green Infrastructure Design and Construction, the Construction Project Manager – Section Lead oversees staff and activities of the Construction Management Section for Green Infrastructure (GI) projects in NYC. Responsibilities include construction oversight (inspection and documentation) for GI projects built by DEP and partners, procurement of design services, and coordination with other DEP bureaus and interagency partners.
Applicants must specify for each construction project worked on: a description, time period, type of work performed, and the money allotted for the project.
At the time of appointment, applicants must hold a valid motor vehicle driver license in the State of New York. Moving violations, license suspension, or an accident record may disqualify the candidate. The license must be maintained for the duration of employment.

Salary: $83,743.00 – $141,970.00
