Report to the Deputy Director and be responsible for various aspects of construction safety programs, including support for DDC Infrastructure, Public Buildings, and Alternative Delivery capital construction projects. Conduct contractor safety performance evaluations and perform technical tasks related to construction capital project management and delivery. Conduct regular field audits to monitor and verify the remediation of safety findings, ensure compliance with Site Safety Plans and applicable safety standards, communicate findings and recommendations to project staff and contractors. Prepare safety progress reports, coordinate with other divisions and agencies, monitor and report key performance indicators with a focus on continuous improvement, and routinely prepare and maintain status reports for capital and MMR projects for Senior Management. This position plays a critical role in strengthening regulatory compliance and supporting the timely and successful delivery of capital construction projects.
Prior experience with construction safety and data management. Ability to work collaboratively with others and perform detailed work under time‑sensitive deadlines. Strong analytical, verbal, written, and computer skills.
