Overview

Secretary/Treasurer for the Borough of Port Clinton, Schuylkill Co., PA. Part Time, Works from Home. Reports to Borough Council, and provides general administrative support.

Responsibilities
  • Takes minutes at monthly meetings.
  • Maintains both hard and electronic copies of records.
  • Acts as point of contact for the public and prepares official correspondence.
  • Interfaces with the Borough Engineer, Attorney, Tax Collector, and third-party bill collection service.
  • Financial: Receives and deposits payments made to Borough. Processes Accounts Payable. Prepares payroll. Assist with annual budget preparation and audits. Ensures compliance with state and federal reporting requirements.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks is beneficial, but training will be provided.
  • Must be bondable and able to pass a background check.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Training and coaching will be provided.
