Omaha Public Schools is seeking a Secretary 3 for the Main Office/Receptionist role. This full-time position involves general secretarial duties, maintaining student records, and providing support to staff and visitors. Ideal candidates will have strong communication skills and previous office experience, preferably in a school setting. The role requires proficiency in computer use and the ability to work independently while maintaining confidentiality.

Position Information
Position Purpose: Performs a wide variety of duties, some of a confidential nature. Performs general secretarial duties including answering phones, basic computer functions, typing, filing, copying, distributing mail, proofreading, etc. Provides monitoring of students as needed.
Essential Performance Responsibilities
Additional Duties: Performs other tasks as assigned by the principal or administrative staff.
Equipment: Ability to use basic office equipment such as computers, copiers, scanners, and fax machines, following OPS guidelines.
Travel: Limited travel may be required.
