Job summary

Insight Global in Reston, VA is seeking a Data Engineer to support a DoD modernization program that unifies access across a portfolio of production applications with a single sign-on and common data platform.

The role designs and tunes PostgreSQL projections and CDC configuration (Debezium or equivalent), manages replication, retention and recovery, and produces feed inventories and data-flow documentation; interim secret clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum Interim Secret Clearance required.
• 4+ years in data engineering with PostgreSQL and a CDC tool (Debezium or equivalent).
• Experience with Kafka and AWS GovCloud.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a Data Engineer to support a mission-application modernization program that unifies access across a portfolio of production applications: one sign-on, one work surface, and a repeatable pattern for onboarding applications to a shared platform, while the existing applications continue to run and are sustained by the same team, for a Department of War (DoW) customer.Data engineering-Design and tune PostgreSQL projections and CDC configuration for the work-item hub; manage replication, retention, and recovery.-Produce feed inventories and data-flow documentation.
