Job summary

Ideal candidates should have at least one year of warehouse experience, forklift operation, and readiness to obtain a government security clearance.

Qualifications

• One year of warehouse/material support experience.
• One year forklift operation experience.
• Familiarity with forklifts, pallet jacks, J-bars, banding machines, and dollies.
• Hazmat/Hazwaste handling procedures knowledge.
• Hazmat management training or military equivalent.
• One year of computerized inventory maintenance; familiarity with Outlook, Word, Excel.
• Ability to interface with government auditors and work in a monitored environment.
• Must qualify for and maintain a government security clearance.
• Must possess a valid state driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Move materials to proper storage locations and palletize as required.
• Operate a forklift 15–20% of the time.
• Verify materials against receiving documents; report discrepancies.
• Identify, count, and tag materials for tracking.
• Handle hazardous materials and maintain security of storage areas.
• Keep storage facilities clean and organized; prepare removed materials for shipment.
