Qualifications

• Secret clearance required for the role.
• BS Engineering and more than 5 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of the SE Management Process and DoD acquisition lifecycle.
• Familiarity with DOD IPPD policies and IPT management.
• Ability to coordinate and negotiate design and engineering activities.

Responsibilities

• Manage systems engineering activities: requirements analyses, functional analyses, design solutions, system architecture.
• Formulate and issue SE documents, processes, procedures and milestones.
• Perform top-level design, development, integration, testing, installation, and troubleshooting.
• Translate military requirements into system concepts and performance specs.
• Develop technical documentation: specs, drawings, interfaces, engineering changes.
• Participate in post awards, reviews, and IPTs as project engineer or technical expert.
• Evaluate design efforts for multi-disciplinary integration and adequate analyses.
• Review test plans, procedures, and reports for technical adequacy for gov. and contractor tests.
• Review system performance against specs, monitor field performance, assess risks.
• Initiate engineering changes and conduct configuration audits.
