Astrion has a contingent opening for a Program Analyst supporting the U.S. Navy's Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division, located in Dahlgren, VA.

This role provides essential management, programmatic, and financial execution support for complex DoD programs, translating technical data into organized executive documentation and driving the risk management process. The position requires two years (or three years in related areas) of management support, knowledge of DoD/Navy programs, and

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of work-related experience in management support or three (3) years in: financial planning, budgeting and execution of project funds, IMS development/maintenance, planning tracking, task coordination for DoD/Navy programs.
• Ability to support Risk Management Process, including risk registers, meeting agendas, mitigation plans and after action reports.
• Strong MS Office skills and ability to produce complex documents and reports.
• Experience in preparing lengthy technical reports with tables, graphs, and multi-column layouts, and contributing to technical reviews and meetings.
• Requires Information Assurance Technical (IAT) II level with a T3 investigation.

Responsibilities

• Provide essential management, programmatic, and financial execution support for complex DoD and Navy weapon system programs.
• Translate technical raw data into organized, executive-level documentation and support the Risk Management Process.
• Support the Program Manager to ensure tracking metrics, project scheduling, and allocation controls align with requirements and lifecycle milestones.
