Job summary

Northrop Grumman’s Defense Systems team in Roy, UT, seeks a Principal or Senior Principal Systems Engineer for the Payload Re-entry System on the Sentinel Program. The role includes MBSE, system architecture, requirements, and verification while interfacing with the USAF customer.

The position offers full relocation support and a standard 9/80 work schedule. Candidates must hold a DoD Secret clearance, with options for SAP approval, and have strong experience in MBSE tools and core systems

Qualifications

• Active U.S. DoD Secret clearance
• MBSE tools experience
• Core Systems Engineering experience (Requirements, Architecture, Interfaces, or Verification)

Responsibilities

• Perform requirements analysis and develop data for requirements verification
• Contribute to system integration, verification and validation activities
• Support test plans, procedures, and test data processing
• Verify specifications and designs through modeling and simulation
• Assist in lifecycle stages from concept to disposal
• Develop Basis of Estimates (BOEs) for systems engineering
• Interface with USAF customer as needed
