Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Network Systems Engineer to join a Federal Program in Pearl Harbor, HI. The Network Systems Engineer will support a large-scale, geographically dispersed enterprise network environment with emphasis on LAN/WAN/WLAN, routing, switching, and network security.

Responsibilities include leading complex issue resolution, configuring switches/routers/firewalls, Tier III escalation, and coordinating with vendors.

Qualifications

• Active Secret Security Clearance.
• DoD 8570.01 IAT Level III certification or equivalent.
• Experience with large-scale DoD or federal networks.
• CCNP/CCIE-level expertise or equivalent certification.
• Hands-on troubleshooting across routing, switching, SD-WAN and security.

Responsibilities

• Lead identification, troubleshooting, and resolution of complex network issues.
• Configure and maintain switches, routers, firewalls, WLAN APs, and sensors.
• Provide Tier III escalation support and coordinate with vendors.
• Develop and maintain change tickets and RCA for incidents.
• Operate in an Agile environment using SAFe and JIRA.
