Job summary

JT4 Point Mugu is seeking a Network Field Engineer to provide Wide Area Network technical and engineering support for deployed systems. The role focuses on end-to-end device configuration, troubleshooting transport connectivity, and implementing new network designs.

Ideal candidate will have a Secret clearance and be located at Point Mugu; telework is not available. Responsibilities include documenting changes and creating network drawings to support resilient, secure networks.

Qualifications

An associate's degree in engineering or formal academic/vocational training, or military equivalent and four or more years of technical/professional experience in the specialty field are required for this position.
Minimum 3 years managing and supporting networks.
Must have (or be willing to obtain) Security+ certification.
Active secret clearance preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide Wide Area Network technical and engineering support for Deployed Systems Branch, RangeLynx IPT.
Maintain end-to-end device configuration and troubleshoot transport/long-haul connectivity.
Implement new network architecture designs and configurations, and documentation of network changes.
Create and update network drawings and rack elevations.
