JT4 Point Mugu is seeking a Network Field Engineer to provide Wide Area Network engineering support for deployed systems. The role involves end-to-end device configurations, testing transport/long-haul connectivity, and implementing new network designs, with an emphasis on highly resilient, low-latency infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in engineering or military equivalent required.
• Four or more years of technical/professional networking experience required.
• Active networking certifications (e.g., CCNA/CCNP/CCIE/JNCIA) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain end-to-end device configurations; design resilient, low-latency networks (Layer 2 & 3).
• Manage dynamic routing (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP), VLANs, VRFs, Spanning-Tree, Tunnels, multicast/unicast transport.
• Configure routing/switch policies, QoS, ACLs, and IPv4/IPv6 address planning.
• Create/update network architecture drawings and rack elevations.
