Job summary

IDS International seeks a Modeling and Simulation Specialist to support Army mission training and exercise requirements through the development of modeling and simulation scenarios. The role includes virtual and constructive environments, terrain development, and scenario creation in support of Army Mission Command and LVCG systems.

The candidate will build 3D terrain databases, author simulations, and assist with video editing while collaborating on modeling/simulation development.

Qualifications

• Secret clearance is required or active eligibility.
• Two years of experience developing scenarios with VBS4.
• Experience building 3D terrain databases and entity objects.
• Familiarity with constructive and virtual simulations and video editing.
• Knowledge of Army Mission Command and LVCG systems.
• Knowledge of an object-oriented language such as Java, C++, or .NET.

• Develop scenarios using VBS4 for Army missions.
• Build 3D terrain databases and entity objects.
