Job summary

Cambridge International Systems, Inc. is seeking a Logistician to support Charleston operations on a full-time basis, requiring a DoD Secret clearance.

You will manage material flow, inventory, and logistics processes for NIWC Atlantic programs, coordinating with cross-functional teams and leveraging GCSS-MC/CMPro, Excel, and CAD tools to ensure accuracy, safety, and cost-effective outcomes.

Qualifications

• HS diploma/GED or related military experience.
• 5 years professional experience solving technical problems.
• Clear DoD Secret security clearance.
• Strong engineering concepts or software design/maintenance understanding.

Responsibilities

• Ensure product/service and process meet quality and safety standards.
• Test equipment to ensure safe and effective operation.
• Interpret plans and drawings; contribute to test specimen design.
• Prepare shop drawings with CAD; know material specs and fabrication methods.
• Manage material flow: shipping, receiving, and movement between locations.
