Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems seeks a qualified Linux Systems Administrator to support NASIC operations at Wright Patterson AFB, Beavercreek, OH. On-site, full-time role requiring a Secret clearance with potential for Top Secret (TS/SCI) in the future.

The team handles virtualization, AD management, and hardening per DoD guidelines. Responsibilities include maintaining servers, networking coordination, automation via Ansible, and safe patch management.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of enterprise server administration experience.
• Experience with DoD STIG/JSIG hardening and patch management.

Responsibilities

• Communicate across internal/external teams to resolve issues.
• Maintain multi-user server operations and coordination with engineers.
• Analyze requirements and propose hardware/software improvements.
• Implement system enhancements for performance and reliability.
• Provide backup/recovery and manage security access lists.
• Ensure adherence to information security guidelines.
