Job summary

StratasCorp in Pensacola, FL is seeking a Linux Administrator to support an enterprise-scale network within the DoD IT sector. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain Red Hat Enterprise Linux systems, plus DNS, NTP, Postfix, firewalls, and VMware environments.

The role requires a High School Diploma, an Active Secret clearance, and Security+ or equivalent certification; on-site work and a competitive benefits package are provided.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Active Secret clearance is required.
• Security+ or equivalent certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.0 and newer operating systems.
• Perform day-to-day monitoring and maintenance for Linux Systems including authoritative and recursive DNS, firewalls, and databases.
• Review and update STIG requirements and checklists and remediate/document findings as needed.
• Diagnose and repair remote Linux systems running in a VMware environment.
• Troubleshoot and maintain numerous applications running on Linux systems including DNS, NTP, and Postfix.
• Be available for modified shifts when working high priority tasking.
