Job summary

Canvas II, LLC. seeks a cybersecurity professional to safeguard DoD information systems at Eglin Air Force Base. You will implement STIG-based controls, develop SSPs, and support ISSM duties in a classified environment.

Requirements include active Secret clearance, DoW 8140 qualification (Security+), 4+ years of cyber experience, and a bachelor’s or master’s degree. On-site role with strong emphasis on compliance, documentation, and system monitoring.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance required.
• DoW 8140 Cyber Workforce Qualification certification (Security+).
• Minimum 4 years of cybersecurity experience.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an applicable discipline.

Responsibilities

• Ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability of classified IS and data using approved practices.
• Provide cybersecurity support for test area systems including real-time, standalone, and networked systems.
• Evaluate new technologies prior to implementation.
• Develop, maintain, and revise SOPs, SSPs, and ATO documentation.
• Perform security scans with STIGs to ensure compliant configurations.
• Collect and preserve IS audit logs per SSP/government requirements.
• Monitor and document system changes per Configuration Management Policy.
• Assist ISSM; assume ISSM duties in their absence.
