Xcelerate Solutions in Alexandria, VA is seeking a Security Engineer – Endpoint Security Tool Monitoring to support Cyber Primes' cybersecurity, privacy, records and information management, and related enterprise support for DHRA, including DMDC and OUSD(P&R). The role requires an Active Secret clearance and U.S.

citizenship. You will validate data flows, optimize endpoint configurations, and advise government tool administrators on secure, compliant monitoring.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and five years of experience.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Active Secret clearance is required when duties involve classified information.
• Experience with endpoint security tools and monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive cybersecurity tool-monitoring responsibilities defined in PWS 5.3.1.1.
• Validate upstream rollup of endpoint data to security systems and reporting mechanisms.
• Maintain weekly rollup validation records and document misconfigurations.
• Develop recommendations to optimize endpoint-security configurations for accurate data collection, alerts and response.
• Provide supported configuration recommendations to Government tool administrators for implementation.
• Apply information-assurance expertise in scanning, mitigation, compliance, and Tier 2 troubleshooting for endpoint monitoring.
