Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems seeks a Sensors and Systems Technician to join its Manufacturing Organization in Linthicum, Maryland. The technician will test, troubleshoot, calibrate, construct and repair a broad spectrum of electronic components and assemblies using manual and automatic equipment.

Strong knowledge of electronics and soldering is required. The role requires adaptability to changing assignments and the ability to collect and analyze data, with the ability to obtain and maintain

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Graduate of a two-year electronic technology school or six months military electronics training plus two years working with electro-mechanical equipment.
• Capable of meeting solder certification and passing pre-employment screening.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing, operation, troubleshooting, calibration, construction, repair and assembly across a broad range of technologies.
• Collect, record, analyze and evaluate data; recommend processing changes as appropriate.
• Work with manual and automatic equipment to fabricate and test complex components, assemblies, devices, circuits and systems.
• Maintain and obtain required security clearance.
