Job summary

People, Technology & Processes, LLC is seeking a Data Scientist in Arlington, VA with Secret clearance to support planning, programming, and budgeting for PPBC-G forums and related Army initiatives. You will help design and execute data analytics, develop models, and assist with reporting for CFO analytic agenda, leveraging SQL, Python/R, and visualization tools like Power BI and Tableau.

Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree, 4+ years with DoD data systems, and strong writing/communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of four years of DoD data experience with big-data systems.
• Experience with ML tools to select features and build classifiers.
• Strong writing, knowledge of Army org and regulations, and good communication.
• Proficiency in SQL, Excel, R or Python, data visualization and presentation skills.
• Prior knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, and Advana is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate PPBC-G forums, coordinate topics and presentations with Army National Guard Bureau.
• Support design, development, and execution of data analytics led by the GS-13 Data Scientist.
• Provide expertise on ARNG roles, missions, authorities and Army strategic guidance.
• Develop and enhance websites, applications, and secure DB access per requirements.
