Job description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated AV Field Engineer with an active US Security Clearance to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and support of audio-visual systems. You will work closely with project managers, system designers, and end-users to ensure successful deployment and ongoing operation of AV systems in the field.

This position involves travel to client sites in the Washington DC area

Due to Government Contract, all viable candidates must have an active US Secret Security Clearance or higher

Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and support a variety of AV systems including video conferencing, digital signage, projection, sound reinforcement, and control systems.
• Perform site surveys, system testing, and commissioning to ensure system performance and quality standards are met.
• Interpret schematics, signal flow diagrams, and architectural drawings.
• Coordinate with IT and network teams to ensure AV systems integrate seamlessly with existing infrastructure.
• Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and repairs to AV systems onsite and remotely.
• Maintain accurate documentation for configurations, changes, and issues.
