Job Overview

We are seeking a Junior Financial Analyst. The Financial Analyst will analyze past financial performance to predict future performance and to advise the company on its financial strategy.

Essential Functions

1. Assist in mapping and monitoring data flow processes
2. Support the development and updating of financial reports and dashboards
3. Monitor contracts burn rates and other financial metrics on a recurring basis
4. Prepare documentation and support the senior analyst in presentations
5. Other duties as assigned

Competencies

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Thorough understanding of systems analysis methods and big data principles
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Knowledge of Federal Accounting Principles (e.g., FASB)
• Understanding of Federal Regulations, including FAR

• Supervisory Responsibility: None
• Work Environment: Professional office setting with standard equipment
• Physical Demands: Ability to remain stationary, move equipment, and communicate effectively
• Position Type/Hours: Full-time, Mon-Fri, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with some in-office days and potential evening/weekend hours

• Education: Bachelor’s in Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred
• Security Clearance: U.S. citizen with ability to obtain/maintain SECRET clearance, eligible for Top Secret
