Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Software QA Engineer to join the Intelligence Systems team in Reston, VA. You will develop and execute test plans for software and firmware, perform rigorous testing including hardware-in-the-loop, and track defects to ensure high-quality products.

You will collaborate with developers to debug issues, contribute to testing methodology improvements, and ensure full traceability from design requirements to test procedures.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of software QA experience.
• Experience testing in Linux and Windows environments.
• Strong understanding of core networking principles and IP protocols.
• Proficiency with Wireshark and network analysis tools.
• Experience with Git and common platforms (GitLab, GitHub, Bitbucket).
• Experience with bug trackers (JIRA, Bugzilla).
• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Must maintain an active secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute manual and automated test plans, test cases, and scripts for software and firmware.
• Perform functional, regression, and user acceptance testing with hardware-in-the-loop.
• Identify, document, and track defects; collaborate with developers to verify fixes.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing methodologies.
• Create validation plans with clear pass/fail criteria and traceability from design to tests.
