Job summary

Bering-Alaka`ina Holdings, LLC is seeking a qualified Janitor to support a government contract in Indian Springs, Nevada. Duties include cleaning bathrooms, offices, conference rooms and common areas according to schedules; readiness to work with various cleaning tools and maintain safety standards.

Required: high school or equivalent and at least 1 year janitorial experience; ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• One year directly related facility janitorial experience preferred.
• Possess familiarity with equipment, including vacuums, floor polisher, and carpet steam cleaners.
• Position requires the ability to qualify for and maintain a government Secret Security Clearance.
• Possess a valid state issued driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks assigned in a professional, courteous manner.
• Scrub and disinfect toilets, urinals, drinking fountains, showers, toilet doors, and other bathroom fixtures according to cleaning schedules. Remove all bathroom trash.
• Restock bathroom supplies, soap, paper towels as needed.
• Sweep and mop bathroom floors with a water and disinfectant solution.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, remove trash in offices, hallways, kitchens, conference rooms, entrances and exits per building schedules.
• Mix water and detergents to prepare cleaning solutions.
• Assist in cleaning landscaping, sidewalks, parking, and smoking areas.
• Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.
