Sierra Nevada Corporation (SNC) is hiring a Janitor to maintain clean facilities and support a secure work environment. The role involves heavy cleaning tasks, use of cleaning equipment, and managing supplies on-site in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities include cleaning floors, windows, rugs; inspecting equipment; and following safety procedures. Candidates should have a high school diploma and 1+ years of related experience; a higher degree may substitute for experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 1+ years of cleaning experience or related field.
• Higher level degree may substitute for experience.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning procedures and equipment operation.
• Ability to complete scheduled tasks quickly with minimal supervision.
• Must be capable of climbing stairs, ladders, and working on a stationary ladder.
• Familiarity with the safe use of cleaning products and tools.

Responsibilities

• Clean floors, shampoo rugs, wash walls and glass, remove rubbish, and vacuum areas to maintain cleanliness.
• Utilize power construction equipment, measuring devices, power tools, and other cleaning equipment effectively.
• Follow procedures for the safe use of chemical cleaners and handle hazardous materials responsibly.
• Inspect and repair motorized cleaning equipment to ensure it is in working order.
• Track and manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment needed for maintenance.
• Regularly inspect building operating systems and notify management of any necessary major repairs or improvements.
• Adhere to safety regulations and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
