Job summary

Spry Methods, Inc. is seeking a Functional Test Engineer to support a government customer in Arlington, VA. This role requires hands-on testing expertise across functional, regression, load, and system testing, with a focus on translating requirements into robust test cases.

You will perform planning, scripting, and execution of test activities, document defects, and provide technical inputs to management. A Secret clearance and 4+ years of QA experience are required.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance required.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related IT field or equivalent experience.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience supporting testing/QA requirements.
• Hands-on expertise with both manual and automated testing (functional, regression, load and system).
• Ability to translate requirements into test cases.
• Basic SQL in Oracle or Microsoft.
• Service testing on Oracle SOA ESB and Windows.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical test engineering expertise.
• Plan, write, and execute test scripts, test cases, and test scenarios.
• Analyze and report on test requirements for management.
• Document defects and support remediation of software/documentation.
• Support requirements development.
