Critical Solutions is seeking a Data Engineer (with active Secret clearance) to design, build, and sustain secure enterprise data solutions in a mission‑critical environment in Norfolk, VA. The role focuses on scalable ETL/ELT pipelines, data modeling, and governance across hybrid cloud/on‑prem platforms.

The ideal candidate will work with BI, cybersecurity, and program teams to deliver governed data products, support modernization in an Agile/DevOps culture, and ensure data quality,

Qualifications

• U.S. citizen with active DoD Secret or higher clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines from enterprise sources.
• Build and optimize data models, schemas, and curated data sets supporting analytics and BI.
• Develop data-processing solutions using SQL, Python, and approved tools with source control and release practices.
• Integrate cloud and on‑premises data platforms for secure data movement and performance.
• Implement automated data-quality checks and monitoring with alerting and remediation.
