Qualifications

• Must have a bachelor’s degree in special education or related field.
• Valid Nevada teaching license with an appropriate special education endorsement.
• Knowledge of IDEA, IEP development, and inclusive practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in compliance with IDEA and state regulations.
• Provide specialized instruction to students with disabilities in inclusive and/or pull-out settings.
• Collaborate with general education teachers to ensure access to the curriculum and accommodations.
• Conduct assessments and progress monitoring to evaluate student achievement and adjust instruction.
• Participate in IEP meetings and maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Implement behavior intervention plans and support social-emotional learning strategies.
