Job summary

Otsego Public Schools is seeking a dedicated High School Special Education Teacher (Level 1) to join our secondary staff for the 2026-27 school year. This full-time position requires a valid Michigan teaching certificate with a Special Education endorsement and prior experience in Level 1 SPED, preferably at the secondary level.

The role focuses on delivering instruction to students with special needs and collaborating with staff to implement IEPs.

Qualifications

• Michigan teaching certificate with Special Education endorsement.
• Experience in Level 1 special education preferred.
• Experience at the secondary level preferred.

Responsibilities

• Instruct students with special needs in core content using varied techniques.
• Collaborate with teachers/administrators to develop or revise secondary programs.
