Stockbridge Community School District is seeking a Secondary Special Education Teacher to support resource room and co-taught core instruction. The role involves creating and delivering grade-level content aligned to IEPs in collaboration with a general education teacher.

will be responsible for resource room classes and/or co-teaching core curriculum. This teacher will be responsible for developing and implementing appropriate grade level content expectations and activities for students with Individual Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with a general education teacher, and writing/implementing IEPs for students on his/her caseload. This teacher will be responsible for developing and implementing specially designed instruction for students. This teacher must also possess the ability to communicate effectively with all students, their parents/guardians, outside agencies, and district staff.
