Qualifications

• Indiana Department of Education certification required.

Responsibilities

• Instruct students in Social Studies using varied teaching methods with audiovisual aids.
• Assess student learning and adapt instruction to meet individual needs.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop engaging lesson plans and curricular approaches.
• Create teaching outlines, assign lessons, and correct homework.
• Administer tests, record results, and report progress to parents.
• Maintain classroom discipline and manage school activities.
• Discuss academic and behavioral issues with parents and suggest remediation.
• Participate in meetings, conferences, and professional development.
• Keep attendance and grade records.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
