Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education or equivalent.

• Knowledge of VDOE Standards of Learning, FCPS curriculum, and inclusive practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging instruction aligned with VDOE standards and FCPS curriculum across grade levels and subjects.
• Prepare and implement lesson plans using direct instruction, inquiry, collaboration, and project-based activities to promote critical thinking.
• Adapt instruction for diverse learners including English learners and students with disabilities.
• Use assessments to measure learning, monitor progress, and guide instructional decisions.
• Maintain clear classroom routines and foster a respectful, inclusive learning environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues and families to support student growth and success.
