This is a posting for anticipated full-time vacancies for Secondary and/or Middle Level Mathematics teaching positions within the Caesar Rodney School District.

QUALIFICATIONS

Individuals who will be eligible or possess Secondary Mathematics Teacher or Middle Level Mathematics Teacher certification are encouraged to apply. All candidates must apply online. Applicant must meet State of Delaware certification requirements for Secondary Math Education. Successful candidates must provide evidence of successful PRAXIS II scores or a valid out of state teaching license.

Out of State Candidates

An educator applying for a license in the State of DE with less than 1 year of experience will be placed on an Initial License. Applicants with one completed year of experience, but less than 4 years of experience will receive an Initial License. The State of Delaware Department of Education may recognize standard certificates from all other states as a means of eligibility.

SALARY

In accordance with the State of Delaware and local salary schedules, based on experience and degree. Benefits package included.

  • Individuals must provide official transcripts, if applicable, updated resume, and three (3) letters of recommendation.
  • All persons employed by the Caesar Rodney School District are required to submit a criminal background check and a tuberculosis test.
  • Anyone offered employment is required to provide the following: proper identification (Social Security Card and Driver’s License), documentation of eligibility for employment in the U.S.A., completion of I-9 form, and completion of paperwork for the Delaware Child Protection Registry.
